Be Square Zine
THE BRIEF
We were tasked with creating an engaging zine using three articles under the same theme. Throughout the process we were encouraged to explore engaging typography, layout, and zine production.
THE CONCEPT
A zine that’s all about the modern folk and the old-time scene. I drew inspiration from the geometry created from square dancing, and the iconography found in American folk art to create an editorial that felt modern, but grounded in history
